After the Fact Payroll

The "After the Fact Payroll" workbook was developed to support annual wage information slips required to be filed with the government, and given to employees. Payroll journals must be summarized monthly to support government remittances. This is a simple workbook that supports monthly remittances and annual filings.

  • Monitoring the Bottom Line

This is a simple back of envelope computation of an entity's bottom line. It's purpose is to focus the owner/manager on controllable costs and to show how their actions can affect results on a daily basis. Often small businesses do not have the resources to develop monthly or even quarterly financial statements. This worksheet allows them to monitor the bottom line throughout the accounting period, and provides a measure of anticipatory comfort or warning so that when the final result is known it is not a complete surprise. It prevents the common mistake of managing a business based on the bank balance. Particularly when deposits to the bank account include HST.
